Agile Methods and Other Fairy Tales is an article that Agilistas want destroyed. A posting was made on the extreme programming XP yahoo group. It called for "Delenda Est Longstreet Agile Paper." This is a call for the total and complete destruction of the paper. We are lucky we live in an era where opinions cannot not be silenced by a few radical and "extremme" individuals.
Agile & Atkins Fads that Leave You Feeling Empty (coming soon) Agile and Atikins have a lot in common. Both are fads with little scientific evidence to support their claims. The reason why Agile has become so popular is they rely on the fact most IT organizations do not know their current levels of performance, so they can't determine success or failure of any methodology including Agile.

(coming soon). Agilistas often change definitions kinda like shape shifters. As an example, when I have pointed out that pair programming is a joke, I have had Agilstas tell me pair programming is not a common practice and others insist it is a common practice. Go figure? In the end, Agile is anything you want it to be.
